History

Ventures and Falcon Camps have a long history of providing holidays for children and young people.

Ventures and Falcon Camps have been running in the UK for over fifty years, providing a unique holiday experience that has been cherished by generations of children and young people throughout the period. Many have met God in a new and powerful way through the witness and teaching of Ventures and Falcon Camp leaders, and many Christians have been richly blessed in serving God through volunteering on the camps. It is testimony to the impact of Ventures and Falcon Camps that so many of today's volunteers were previously members themselves and many leaders continue to support camps year after year.

Ventures and Falcon Camps are overseen by the experienced staff and trustees of CPAS, the Church Pastoral Aid Society, whose own history dates back to 1836. The pioneering vision of Lord Shaftesbury and the other CPAS founders had for equipping Christian churches and sharing God's blessing with those around them continues faithfully in the work of Ventures and Falcon Camps today.
