The Holiday:
Come and explore what it means to follow Jesus with some amazing people, tasty food, engaging Bible teaching, modern worship and crazy activities. Choose either a full week of outdoor adventure (from canoeing to ghyll scrambling), or a mix of outdoor stuff and fun music workshops (forming bands, song writing and much more). Add wide games, a bonfire, hot chocolate, hilarity and some crazy challenges and you’ve arrived at Castle Head! Join us there!
The Location :
Castle Head is near Grange-over-Sands in South Cumbria. We have exclusive use of their buildings and grounds. We’ll be doing amazing outdoor activities in the southern part of the Lake District. Members will sleep in dorms of between 4 and 10 people, and there’s loads of great indoor spaces for you to use in free time, plus a fab dining hall and a chapel space for meetings. You can visit www.field-studies-council.org/locations/castlehead to see the venue. If you are coming by train we can pick you up from Oxenholme Station (near Kendal). If transport is difficult, let us know and we’ll try to put you in touch with people coming from a similar area.
