The Holiday:
Hope Cumbria 1 is back in the Lake District for 2025! We’re planning a brilliant week for our younger members 11-14 yrs.
Breath-taking scenery, fabulous food, amazing experiences and plenty of time to learn about Jesus. Walk up mountains, climb on rocks, high ropes and raft building. Central meetings packed with dorm challenges, fun, excitement and Bible teaching to grow your faith and make you think.
Prioritising sending churches
The Location :
We’ll be staying at Castle Head Field Studies Centre, which is an activity based outdoor education centre, near Grange-over-Sands on the edge of the beautiful Lake District National Park. You'll stay in well-appointed dorms of eight to ten beds with all bedding provided. Bathrooms and showers are nearby. Plenty of inside space to relax. If you are coming with a friend or in a group from church we will try to keep you together in the same dorm if we can.
Castle Head is a secure site with a wide range of challenging activities and plenty of space to explore. We have the site all to ourselves throughout our stay. The centre is just off of the A590 near Grange-over-Sands and members can be collected from Grange-over-Sands train station if required.
