The Holiday:
Join us for a week of fun and adventure as we explore what it means to follow Jesus. With a great mix of outdoor activities, music, Bible teaching, and engaging worship, there is something for everyone. There will also be plenty of games, some crazy challenges, and an epic water fight.
The Location :
This year we are moving to a new site, and will be based at the Kepplewray Centre, in Broughton-in-Furness. There’s plenty to do onsite, with large playing fields, an archery lawn, and some climbing challenges, but it is also a great location for getting out and exploring the fantastic scenery of the Lake District. We’ll be making the most of that, as we explore the surrounding hills and enjoy canoeing and paddleboarding on nearby Coniston Water.
The Activities and The Programme:
Come and enjoy a range of exciting outdoor activities, such as canoeing, ghyll scrambling, paddleboarding, climbing, mountain walking, and more.
There will also be worship, team-time discussions, evening entertainment, music, games and challenges, chill-out time, a water fight and plenty of opportunities for cake and hot chocolate!
The Team:
Ian and Gareth have both been involved with Ventures Holidays for many years, and are really looking forward to working together and sharing ideas. We have a fantastic team of volunteers which includes musicians, group leaders, qualified activity instructors and our amazing cooks. Those who have been before will see lots of familiar faces, but we are excited to also welcome some new leaders who are coming to join the fun.
